Sticks and debris and general park clean-up

I have expressed to the Deputy Commissioner that Dorchester Park once again needs a clean-up. Sticks and debris from the storm at the end of August are all over and the grass needs to cut as well as the weeds around play areas. I also asked for re-mulching of play areas. I was told that the Parks Maintenance Department is still assisting the Highway Department with tree removal from the storm and that they will get to Dorchester Park as soon as possible. They did come to mow the grass yesterday though at least.

Gates

Spoke to Deputy Commissioner several times asking when gates that were approved back in July were going to be installed. Latest conversation was that a "contract" is in the works. I will keep asking and checking on this until they are installed! I want what we were promised....
